More Than Maintenance
A trained eye changes everything.
Most garden services are built around output.
Keep things trimmed. Keep things clean. Keep things moving.
It works… up to a point. But gardens aren’t static.
They respond to how they’re cut, shaped, and handled over time.
That’s where training matters.
What We Mean by Training
Our team is trained to understand how plants grow, not just how they look.
Every team member completes the Plant Amnesty Master Pruner program, building a foundation in proper technique and plant-specific care. We continue that work with ongoing monthly training, keeping our standards sharp and evolving.
We focus on:
Plant structure and natural form
Proper pruning technique and timing
How different species respond to cuts
How to guide growth over time
This allows us to make decisions that hold up, not just for the week, but for the years ahead.
How It Shows
You may not notice it all at once.
But over time:
Shrubs hold their shape without becoming dense or rigid
Trees develop structure instead of congestion
Gardens feel lighter, more open, more intentional
The work compounds in the right direction.
What This Changes
Maintenance becomes something else.
Not just upkeep, but progression and stewardship.
Each visit builds on the last.
Each decision considers what comes next.
The garden doesn’t just stay in place.
It improves.
How We Work
We don’t rely on speed or uniform methods.
We work deliberately.
Different plants are handled differently.
Different gardens are approached differently.
The goal isn’t consistency of process,
it’s consistency of outcome.
Who This Is For
For clients who care how their garden is handled, not just that it is
For properties where long-term quality matters
For those who want more than routine care
